Valtech is seeking an eRetail Engineering Manager to lead the factory delivering AI-driven improvements in engineering productivity, code quality, and production reliability. You will own delivery with direct leadership over France and India squads while steering AI-native tooling adoption across engineering.

This is a permanent role based in Paris with a mix of client-site and flexible work. You will report to client partners and engineering leaders, manage hiring and career development, and

Qualifications

• Proven track record leading engineering organizations at scale (20+ engineers).
• Driving AI-assisted development or AI-native engineering practices into standard use.
• Experience managing distributed engineering teams (France/India or similar).
• Hands-on technical credibility to defend architecture decisions.
• Fully bilingual French/English is mandatory.

Responsabilités

• Own end-to-end engineering delivery for the eRetail factory with quality and delivery predictability.
• Lead engineering teams across France, Ukraine/India, including hiring and development.
• Align with Agile Operating Model, Quality & Testing, and Production & Support pillars.
• Define AI adoption roadmap in engineering and promote AI-native architectures.
• Ensure KPI-driven delivery, production readiness, and risk mitigation.
• Represent engineering in SteerCos and provide KPI reporting.
