Databricks, a Data and AI company, seeks a Solutions Architect for the EMEA Startups team in France. You will engage founders and CTOs to translate business priorities into data/AI use cases and lead the technical sales motion across discovery to adoption, in a Paris-region hybrid setting.

Role requires 5+ years in customer-facing roles, and strong experience with distributed data systems, cloud platforms and Databricks ecosystem.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a customer-facing pre-sales or technical architecture role.
• Led technical discovery and architecture discussions with senior technical decision-makers.
• Experience designing distributed data systems and cloud-native solutions.
• Hands-on programming experience in Python, SQL, Scala, or Java.
• Experience with AWS, Azure or GCP cloud providers.
• Depth in data engineering, data warehousing, analytics and ML/GenAI.
• Translate business priorities into data/AI use cases.
• Strong business communication and ability to present trade-offs.

Responsabilités

• Partner with Startups Account Executives to build and execute technical account strategy for acquiring new logos and growing Databricks consumption on existing accounts.
• Engage founders, CTOs, VPs of Engineering/Data, architects and technical practitioners in consultative discovery to identify use cases.
• Lead technical sales motion from discovery through evaluation: define success criteria, develop architectures, demos, sizing, proofs of concept, and adoption path.
• Provide technical leadership across data engineering, data warehousing, analytics, ML/GenAI, and cloud-native workloads.
• Collaborate with Sales, Product, Engineering, delivery and services teams, Support and partners to remove blockers and accelerate adoption.
