Databricks is seeking a Solutions Architect for EMEA Startups in France. The role is based in the Paris region with hybrid work and requires business fluency in French and English.

You will partner with Account Executives to design data/AI architectures, engage startups and SMBs, and lead technical wins across data engineering, analytics and GenAI workloads. Qualifications

• 5+ years in a customer-facing pre-sales or equivalent role.
• Experience leading technical discovery and architecture discussions with engineers and senior decision-makers.
• Experience designing distributed data systems and cloud-native solutions.
• Hands-on programming in Python, SQL, Scala or Java.
• Experience with AWS, Azure or GCP.
• Strong business communication linking architecture to business value.

Responsabilités

• Build and execute technical account strategy to acquire new logos and grow Databricks consumption.
• Engage founders, CTOs and data leaders to translate business priorities into data/AI use cases.
• Lead the technical sales motion from discovery to evaluation and adoption.
• Provide leadership across data engineering, analytics, ML/GenAI and cloud workloads.
• Prioritize engagements using signals to create high-value outcomes.
• Collaborate with Sales, Product, Engineering, delivery and partners to remove blockers.
