ixolabs.ai is seeking a Chemistry Expert with a PhD to advance AI-driven chemistry research. You will develop training data for computational chemistry, spectroscopy, and materials science, translating complex theories into practical datasets and challenging problems.

Ideal candidates hold a PhD in Chemistry or related field and have expertise in at least two areas (computational chemistry, spectroscopy, materials science, or theoretical organic chemistry).

Qualifications

• PhD in Chemistry or related field.
• Specialized expertise in at least two areas among computational chemistry, spectroscopy, materials science, or theoretical organic chemistry.
• Strong publication record in peer‑reviewed journals.
• Extensive experience with computational chemistry software or spectroscopic data analysis.
• Excellent ability to communicate complex chemical concepts clearly.

Responsabilités

• Develop training data for computational chemistry methods (DFT, MD, quantum calculations).
• Create training data for spectroscopy techniques (NMR, IR, UV-Vis, Mass Spec) and structural elucidation.
• Elaborate concepts in materials science (crystallography, polymers, nanotech, solid-state properties).
• Evaluate AI-generated content on reaction mechanisms and retrosynthesis for accuracy.
• Design challenging problems combining theory and experimental data interpretation.
• Critique AI predictions of reaction outcomes and molecular design.
