Alignerr is seeking a Chemistry Specialist (Masters/PhD) to design and evaluate advanced chemistry problems for AI training. You will work remotely on a flexible, hourly basis, crafting rigorous problems that push AI to reason about real scientific challenges.

This role values deep chemistry knowledge and precise communication. Ideal candidates hold a Master’s or PhD in Chemistry with expertise across multiple subfields and proficiency in Python or computational tools such as Gaussian or VASP.

Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in Chemistry or closely related field.
• Deep expertise in organic, inorganic, physical, or computational chemistry.
• Comfortable with Python or computational chemistry tools like Gaussian or VASP.
• Exceptionally precise and detail-oriented; you catch what others miss.
• Fluent in English.

Responsabilités

• Design and develop advanced chemistry problems with real-world scientific relevance across organic, inorganic, physical, or computational chemistry.
• Solve and critically review complex problem sets to ensure scientific accuracy, depth, and rigor.
• Apply domain expertise to challenge and refine AI model reasoning in meaningful ways.
• Collaborate asynchronously with AI researchers and fellow domain experts.
• Evaluate AI-generated chemistry content for correctness, clarity, and scientific integrity.
• Work independently on task-based assignments - fully on your own schedule.
