Alignerr is seeking chemistry experts for a fully remote hourly contract to help train AI models. The role targets graduate-level chemists who will design advanced chemistry problems and provide rigorous, well-structured solutions to test AI reasoning across chemical engineering, biochemistry, and physical chemistry.

You'll work asynchronously, 10-40 hours per week, with no prior AI experience required. This flexible contract offers autonomy and global collaboration on cutting-edge AI projects.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or holding a Master's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, or a closely related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills across advanced chemistry domains.
• Able to communicate complex scientific concepts clearly and concisely in writing.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and rigorous reasoning.
• Self-motivated and comfortable working independently.
• No prior AI or data annotation experience required.

Responsabilités

• Design advanced chemistry problems to rigorously test AI reasoning and performance across domains such as chemical engineering, biochemistry, and physical chemistry.
• Develop clear, step-by-step solutions with precise, well-structured logic.
• Evaluate AI-generated outputs for scientific accuracy and quality of reasoning.
• Collaborate with researchers to build and refine benchmarks spanning undergraduate through Master's-level chemistry topics.
• Work independently and asynchronously on your own schedule.
