Responsabilités

  • Manage customer aircraft inspections during Final Assembly Process and Aircraft Delivery.
  • Coordinate resolution of issues relevant for the customer and the industrial progress.
  • Interact with Design, Manufacturing Engineering, Production, Flight Line, Flight Test and Delivery to manage the acceptance process using IT tools.
  • Learn the full industrial process of aircraft manufacturing and the technical integration of the aircraft.
  • Develop leadership by coordinating contributors to solve issues and exercising leadership.
  • Engage in long-term projects and develop Project Management skills in Aircraft Design and Manufacturing.
  • Participate in a six-month rotational placement (e.g., Aircraft Manager in Final Assembly Line).

What you will be doing

You will be on a development journey to guide your growth into the role of Customer Acceptance Manager for Airbus Commercial Aircraft in Toulouse, France and can expect to be involved in the following:

  1. Management of customer aircraft inspections during Final Assembly Process and Aircraft Delivery
  2. Coordination of resolution of the issues relevant for the customer and the industrial progress
  3. You will be interacting with all functions involved in defining, manufacturing and testing the aircraft along its industrial life cycle ( Design office, Manufacturing Engineering, Production, Flight Line, Flight Test and Delivery etc.) You will be using the relevant IT tools to manage the customer acceptance process and surveilling the technical evolution of the aircraft during the industrial process
  4. You will be learning the full industrial process of aircraft manufacturing, the technical integration of an aircraft, the processes and organisations involved and most importantly the customer expectations and requirements
  5. You will learn to manage and coordinate the individual contributors to solve individual issues and you will exercise and develop the associated Leadership skills.
  6. You will also be involved in long term projects and develop Project Management skills. You will acquire technical skills with respect to Aircraft Design and Manufacturing as well as the industrial processes associated
  7. One rotational placement activity will be around 6 months for example as Aircraft Manager in the Final Assembly Line

Your development journey will include a minimum of one rotational placement to support your growth into position.

At the end of the two year development programme, you will have developed into the position of Customer Acceptance Manager !

What we are looking for

To be a successful applicant, you will need to demonstrate you have:

  • A degree level or equivalent within aeronautical Engineering or an equivalent field of study
  • Recently graduated or ideally already a first professional experience in the field of Aeronautical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Airline Operations, Airline Maintenance, In-Service Aero Engineering, Customer Services, Operations or Engineering in general
  • Strong verbal and written communication in our business language (English) and conversational in French
  • A desire to work in a collaborative team environment, focused on driving future innovation
  • The ability to be self aware and a wish to be in the driving seat of your development.
