Ascendance is seeking an eDrive Engineer to manage specification, evaluation, integration, and testing of the eDrive subsystem for the STERNA powertrain. You will own third-party electrical machines and power electronics integration with Ascendance’s high-voltage architectures and validate configurations on the internal ATEA platform.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure MIL-STD compliance, EMI/EMC shielding, and high reliability in harsh environments for defence and civil

Qualifications

• Master's degree or engineering diploma in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics, Mechatronics, or Aerospace Engineering.
• Experience in specification, selection, testing, and integration of high-voltage power electronics (inverters/motor controllers) and electrical machines (motors/generators).
• Defence & Aerospace background with MIL-STD/DO-160 environments and EMI/EMC considerations.

Responsabilités

• Select, test and integrate third-party eDrive components for the STERNA powertrain.
• Integrate eDrive subsystems with Ascendance battery systems, HV distribution and energy management architectures.
• Perform testing, benchmarking, and validation using testbenches, HIL systems, and DO-254/DO-160 alignment for civil and defence aerospace.
