Job summary

Airbus Helicopters SAS is seeking a Drive System Design Responsible based in Marignane, France, to lead transmission system design and certification efforts. You will work within the Transmission Design & Dynamic Systems Architecture team, interfacing with stress analysis, production, tests, and other design offices across the Airbus Helicopters organization.

Qualifications

• Educated to 5 years' degree level in mechanical engineering.
• First experience in aeronautical domain or gearbox design is a plus.
• Synthesis spirit and rigorous mindset.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Advanced English with negotiation level in French; German is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Define technical objectives of transmission systems (specification writing).
• Oversee detailed design and ensure compliance with performance, manufacturing, assembly and reliability requirements for changes and new certifications.
• Manage activities in line with Airbus AH processes; write flight and bench test requests and conclusions, track tests.
• Certify transmission systems; prepare and discuss documents with EASA.
