Job summary

Airbus Helicopters in Marignane, near Marseille, is seeking a Drive System Design Responsible to join the Engineering department. You will define objectives for transmission systems, ensure design compliance, and certify systems with EASA coordination.

The role interfaces with many AH entities across the organization, including stress analysis and production. Ideal candidates will have at least 3 years in aeronautics, strong synthesis skills, and fluency in English with negotiation in French.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience in the aeronautical domain.
• Synthesis mindset and rigor.
• Good communication skills.
• English advanced; French negotiation level; German would be a plus.

Responsibilities

• Defining technical objectives of transmission systems (specification writing).
• Following detailed design & compliance to requirements of performance, manufacturing, assembly & reliability for any design change and/or new certification.
• Managing activities in compliance with Airbus Helicopters AH applicable processes.
• Writing (flight and bench) tests requests & conclusions, preparing, following-up these tests.
• Certifying transmission systems (documents writing, discussions with EASA).
• You will belong to a Squad organization & will be interfaced with a lot of different AH entities (stress analysis, work preparation, quality, production, lab tests, flight tests, project, configuration, airworthiness, other design offices, program, customer support...) and transmission equipment suppliers.
