Job summary

SAF is seeking EASA-licensed AS355 pilots for rotational firefighting missions across Europe. The role demands high safety standards, precise situational awareness, and strict regulatory adherence to execute critical aerial firefighting operations.

Ideal candidates hold an EASA CPL(H) or ATPL(H), at least 1,000 hours PIC with 100 PIC hours on AS350, and a current AS355 type rating. Firefighting experience is a strong advantage, with a solid commitment to safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• EASA CPL(H) or ATPL(H) valid.
• Minimum 1,000 hours PIC.
• Minimum 100 PIC hours on AS350.
• Current AS355 type rating.
• Previous firefighting experience preferred.
• HESLO 1 / 2.
• Strong commitment to safety and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Conduct firefighting missions in compliance with operational procedures and local regulations.
• Ensure safe and efficient flight operations in high-pressure and dynamic environments.
• Maintain continuous situational awareness and sound decision-making during missions.
• Comply with EASA regulations and company operational standards.
• Contribute to Safety Management System (SMS) practices, including hazard reporting and risk mitigation.
• Ensure proper use of aircraft equipment and adherence to maintenance reporting procedures.
