Saf Aerogroup is recruiting an EASA‑licensed AS355 Pilot for rotational firefighting missions across Europe. You will lead critical aerial operations, maintain strict safety and regulatory compliance, and support advanced firefighting tactics.

Applicants must hold EASA CPL(H) or ATPL(H), with 1,000 hours PIC (100 on AS350), a current AS355 rating, and firefighting experience is a strong advantage. Day VFR, rotational pattern in Europe.

Qualifications

• EASA CPL(H) or ATPL(H) licence held and current.
• Minimum 1,000 hours PIC flight time.
• Minimum 100 PIC hours on AS350 helicopter.
• Current AS355 type rating and firefighting experience advantageous.

As we prepare for upcoming firefighting operations, we are recruiting EASA-licensed AS355 Pilots for rotational assignments.

Position Overview

As an AS355 Pilot, you will be engaged in critical aerial firefighting missions.This role requires strong technical expertise, situational awareness, and strict adherence to safety and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct firefighting missions in compliance with operational procedures and local regulations


• Ensure safe and efficient flight operations in high-pressure and dynamic environments


• Maintain continuous situational awareness and sound decision-making during missions


• Comply with EASA regulations and company operational standards


• Contribute to Safety Management System (SMS) practices, including hazard reporting and risk mitigation


• Ensure proper use of aircraft equipment and adherence to maintenance reporting procedures

Candidate Requirements

• Valid EASA CPL(H) or ATPL(H)


• Minimum 1,000 hours PIC


• Minimum 100 PIC hours on AS350


• Current AS355 type rating


• Previous firefighting experience (strong advantage)


• HESLO 1 / 2
