SOS MEDITERRANEE is seeking a three-month Advocacy Officer to safeguard continuity of its advocacy team’s evidence, data and positioning work during an unpaid leave period. You will work with operations to support data collection, analysis and the production of briefing notes and advocacy materials.

The role requires strong analytical writing, knowledge of migration dynamics, and capability to collaborate with remote teams under changing circumstances.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Law, International Relations, Humanitarian Affairs, Political Science or related university degree.
• At least 3 years of work experience in advocacy, in international development contexts.
• Experience in SAR and/or migration contexts is an added value.

Responsabilités

• Data collection and management of operational data with onboard and shore teams.
• Draft internal briefing notes and short analytical updates on policy developments.
• Represent SOS MEDITERRANEE at external meetings with NGO networks and coalitions when requested.
