Job summary

Airbus SAS in Toulouse is seeking an A220 Structure Repair Designer to join the 1SABC team. You will analyse damage, design innovative repair solutions for the A220 structures, and deliver CATIA V5 based repair instructions in line with certification requirements.

The role involves coordinating with Airbus Canada and other stakeholders, ensuring airworthiness and safety while contributing to continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• : BAC+5 / Master’s degree or equivalent engineering diploma; working experience in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering Design is a plus.
• Understanding of Stress and Airworthiness requirements when designing aircraft structure.
• Knowledge of Customer Operations, product Integrity / Liability and maintenance operation is an asset.
• Knowledge of the following tools: CATIA V5.
• Dynamic person with initiative, a strong sense of responsibility and customer oriented.
• Organized, able to manage your time and prioritize tasks effectively, while working toward tight deadlines.
• Advanced level in English and French is needed.

Responsibilities

• Analysing damage reports and developing innovative repair solutions for the A220 structures in accordance with certification requirements.
• Delivering repair instructions in line with airworthiness requirements and Airbus processes.
• Designing standard/basic repairs with CATIA V5.
• Coordinating proposed repair solutions with other A220 actors and considering airworthiness, materials, aerodynamics implications.
• Promoting continuous improvement and supporting projects within the Daily Repairs organisation.
