Job summary

Airbus SAS in Toulouse is seeking an experienced A220 Structure Repair Designer to analyse damage reports and develop innovative repair solutions for the aircraft structure. You will work with the 1SABC team and collaborate with Airbus Canada Repair to ensure compliance with certification requirements.

The role requires BAC+5/Master in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering, strong knowledge of stress, airworthiness, CATIA V5, and fluency in English and French.

Qualifications

• BAC+5 / Master’s degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering or equivalent.
• Strong understanding of stress and airworthiness requirements for aircraft structures.
• Fluent in English and French; effective communication in technical contexts.

Responsibilities

• Analyse damage reports and develop innovative repair solutions for A220 structures.
• Deliver repair instructions meeting certification/airworthiness requirements and Airbus processes.
• Design standard/basic repairs using CATIA V5.
• Coordinate repair solutions with other A220 actors and consider airworthiness implications.
• Support continuous improvement and innovations in the Daily Repairs organisation.
