High Transit in Lancaster, PA is seeking a Fleet Maintenance Supervisor to direct a team of 10-15 technicians in maintenance and repairs for 1000+ assets. You’ll manage preventive programs, timecards, and safety compliance, while coordinating with shipping and SBUs to minimize downtime.

Role requires a high school diploma with auto/mechanics training and 3 years leading mechanics, plus SAP and Office suite proficiency. Shift: 3rd, Sunday-Thursday, 6PM start.

Qualifications

• Graduation from high school plus course work in auto and/or equipment mechanics at a trade school.
• Three (3) years’ experience as a lead mechanic or equivalent in a role requiring safe working practices and regulations (DOT, OSHA).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Docs, and SAP applications.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate planned and emergent maintenance and repairs for the fleet.
• Ensure preventive maintenance program compliance and direct labor assignments.
• Maintain timecards and flex labor with production demands.
• Troubleshoot, resolve mechanical issues, and road-test vehicles when needed.
• Oversee inventory control, budget adherence, and approvals for major expenses.
• Support capital planning and equipment replacement prioritization.
• Maintain knowledge of engine, emission, transmission, brake, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
