The Martin Parish of Turku is seeking a permanent Youth Worker to lead youth activities following confirmation classes. The role involves organizing youth events, guiding volunteers, and coordinating with parish staff and schools.

The parish serves approximately 18,000 members, including many families with children, spanning from the city center to the archipelago. Youth work is conducted at the traditional church hill of Martin and the new parish center in Hirvensalo.
The primary focus of the role is youth work following confirmation classes. The position is responsible for activities directed at young people, their development, and communication within the Martin Parish. Activities include youth evenings, club activities, theme days, trips, weekend camps, various events, and collaboration with schools. The role involves guiding and training volunteers, as well as confirmation work and other youth-related tasks. The worker collaborates with other youth workers, the deacon of education, priests, and volunteer club leaders.
