Job summary

Vaasan Seurakuntayhtymä is seeking a children's instructor to work with children and families in clubs, family services, camps and events. You will plan and develop the parish's early childhood education and family activities in cooperation with the youth work instructor, club worker and youth priest in a close-knit team.

The role requires a church member with appropriate church qualifications and access to a car, with permanent employment and opportunities for training and benefits.

Qualifications

• Education according to Church qualification collection no. 75 or equivalent for children's instructors.
• Congregational/Church education qualifications are preferred.
• Experience or training in early childhood education or family work is valued.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement and develop the parish's early childhood education and family activities.
• Lead day, family and afternoon clubs and family/children's camps.
• Collaborate with the youth work instructor, club worker and priest responsible for youth work.
