Job summary

Humana is seeking a cook to take charge of meal provision at the Sähäkkä child protection unit in Oulainen, Finland. The role involves planning and executing meals, designing menus for special diets and youths’ preferences, with about 20 diners daily.

The position is part-time (about 80%) and permanent, with shifts on weekdays 08:00–18:00. TES level G18B applies, adjusted for part-time. A supportive work environment, leadership and colleague backing are provided.

Qualifications

• Kitchen or cleaning industry training or relevant work experience.
• Hygiene certificate.
• Experience with quality control and self-monitoring plans is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute meals and independently design menus accounting for special diets and youths’ preferences.
• Place food orders and manage kitchen-related cleaning tasks such as dishwashing.
• Oversee supplier orders and implement the kitchen’s internal safety plan and maintain kitchen cleanliness.
