Job summary

SD Worx in Finland seeks a senior technology leader to head the Finland Technology Tribe. You will define product vision, strategy, and KPIs, manage lifecycles, and oversee roadmaps, security, and performance.

Lead cross-functional teams and align local initiatives with global technology strategy. Successful candidate will guide quarterly planning, coordinate roadmap execution, and collaborate with Finnish leadership, global Product Management, vendors, and outsourced providers.

• Head the Finland Technology Tribe and set product vision, strategy, and KPIs.

Job description

SD Worx is seeking a senior technology leader to head its Finland Technology Tribe. The role focuses on product strategy, technology delivery, team leadership, and aligning local technology solutions with Finnish business priorities and global technology strategy.

Responsibilities include defining product vision, strategy, and KPIs; managing product lifecycles; overseeing technology roadmaps; addressing technical debt; and ensuring quality, security, compliance, and performance. The Tribe Lead will guide quarterly business planning, coordinate roadmap execution, align priorities across product teams, and monitor delivery progress.

The position also involves leading and coaching cross-functional teams comprising Product Managers, Product Owners, ProductOps coaches, Engineers, and Architects. The successful candidate will collaborate with Finnish leadership, global Product Management, vendors, outsourced service providers, and other technology teams. A key focus is developing local payroll and related add-on solutions while supporting the adoption of global products in the Finnish market and, where relevant, Northern Europe.

Candidates should have senior technology and software development leadership experience in international organisations, experience leading large distributed teams in Agile environments, and a proven record of delivering large-scale technology programmes and transformation initiatives. Knowledge of HR technology, payroll, data analytics, integrations, AI, and security is advantageous. Fluency in spoken and written Finnish and English is required; Swedish is a plus.
