Job summary

Zalaris is looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead HR and Payroll transformation projects for clients across Finland and Europe. You will deliver implementation, migration and digitalisation initiatives while coordinating stakeholders, timelines, budgets and project teams.

The role requires 5+ years of PM experience in HR/Payroll/HCM, strong stakeholder management and communication skills, and the ability to operate in international environments.

Job description

We are looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead HR and Payroll transformation projects for clients across Finland and Europe. You will be responsible for delivering implementation, migration, and digitalisation initiatives while managing stakeholders, timelines, budgets, and project teams. Experience within HR, Payroll, SAP HCM, SAP SuccessFactors, or outsourcing environments is highly valued.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end HR and Payroll projects.
• Manage scope, timelines, budgets, risks, and resources.
• Act as the primary contact for clients and key stakeholders.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams across HR, Payroll, IT, and Operations.
• Drive project governance, reporting, and steering committee activities.
• Manage customer expectations regarding scope, timeline, budget, and risks.
• Ensure successful project delivery aligned with quality and compliance requirements.
• Support continuous improvement and best practices in project delivery.

Experience & Qualifications

• 5+ years of project management experience in HR, Payroll, HCM, or related transformation projects.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience working in international and multicultural environments.
• Strong organisational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Fluent Finnish and English, written and spoken,
• Willingness to travel occasionally as required.
• PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, or similar certification is beneficial.
