Job summary

SSAB is seeking an Application Specialist – Track & Trace to manage and develop our delivery tracking solution. You will bridge IT, business stakeholders, and external vendors to ensure seamless tracking from mills to customers.

You will oversee integration, monitoring, and continuous improvement of our delivery tracking systems, collaborating with carriers, business units, and IT partners. Join a global logistics environment with modernization and cloud technology.

Qualifications

• Strong data analysis to identify root causes in tracking data.
• Understanding of how multiple complex IT systems interact.
• Experience or strong interest in Vendor Management.
• Fluency in English, written and spoken.
• Ability to work independently and drive tasks forward.
• Experience with Azure-based environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Improve tracking of deliveries across major carriers and key markets.
• Onboard new carriers and integrate their IT systems.
• Analyze tracking data with BI reports to identify root causes and improvements.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define priorities for tracking success.
• Ensure stable connections and message flows between internal TMS/OTM and external platforms.
• Enhance reporting tools and data quality for end-customer visibility.
• Manage relationships with external IT vendors to resolve issues.
