Job summary

ABB Oy, Smart Power in Vaasa is seeking a Customer Support & Transportation Specialist to coordinate global export shipments and ensure compliant documentation in collaboration with factory functions and customers.

You will drive process improvements and own Intrastat reporting while engaging with customers, forwarders, customs authorities, and internal teams to ensure on-time deliveries and optimized logistics performance.

Qualifications

• Requires a B.Sc. or M.Sc. in a relevant field (e.g., international business).
• Fluency in Finnish and English, both written and spoken.
• Previous experience in export logistics/transportation is essential.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate global export shipments with required export documentation.
• Select and coordinate cost-effective transportation solutions.
• Manage export invoicing and ensure compliant documentation.
• Collaborate with customers, freight forwarders, customs, and internal stakeholders.
• Resolve delivery issues and improve logistics efficiency.
• Own Intrastat reporting and act as local SME.
• Monitor transport data and KPIs to identify trends and root causes.
• Drive continuous improvement of export and logistics processes.
