Job summary

Hitachi Energy Finland Oy in Vaasa (FI) seeks a skilled Tender Controller to provide robust financial control for projects and tenders, ensuring accurate forecasting, cost management, and risk mitigation to support profitable growth.

The role collaborates with tender managers and sales teams, develops profitability models, and monitors KPIs. Fluency in English is required; Finnish/Swedish is a plus. This is a full-time position based in Vaasa.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Support tender processes with accurate cost estimations and profitability analyses.
• Develop financial models for project profitability, cash flow, exposure and working capital.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS and internal financial policies.
• Collaborate with tender managers, sales teams, and other stakeholders for financial insights.
• Monitor tender project performance KPIs, including exposure, margin analysis, and risks.
• Participate in internal and external audits with necessary documentation.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements in project controlling and tender management.
• Manage currency risk exposure and hedging strategies where necessary.
• Advise on contractual setups including consortiums, export financing, bonds, letters of credit etc.
