Job summary

Qualifications

• MSc degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
• Proven experience as Financial Controller or similar in a large multinational.
• Thorough knowledge of GAAP and IFRS.
• Experience with general ledger functions and month-end/year-end close.
• Excellent accounting software skills (SAP, Oracle).
• Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical abilities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Finnish.

Responsibilities

• Manage period-end closing processes with deadlines.
• Prepare and review monthly financial statements, balance sheets, income statements, and management reports.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain Management, Project Management, and Shared Service Centers on accounting matters.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning with the Business Controller.
• Ensure compliance with local tax regulations, corporate policies, GAAP, IFRS, and other standards.
• Support internal and external audits and regulatory reporting requirements.
• Research and resolve technical accounting matters for accurate financial treatment.
• Provide financial analysis and guidance to support business decisions and project performance.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of financial processes and reporting quality.
