Job summary

DFDS Logistics Oy in Turku, Finland, is seeking a Financial Controller to strengthen our international finance team. You will lead monthly, quarterly, and year-end reporting, ensure compliance with Finnish legislation, and support audit processes.

The role requires a degree in accounting/finance, 5+ years in accounting/financial reporting/audit, fluency in Finnish and English, and strong ERP and Excel skills.

Qualifications

• The candidate has a degree in accounting, finance or a related field and at least five years of experience in accounting, financial reporting, audit or similar finance roles.
• Fluent communication in Finnish and English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Ensure Monthly, Quarterly and Annual financial reporting for assigned entities is accurate and timely.
• Perform month-end, quarter-end and year-end closings, including journals, accruals, reconciliations and adjustments.
• Collaborate with Finance Business Partner and DBS Finance Shared Service Centre in Poland to maintain high-quality reporting and drive process improvements.
• Maintain internal controls and ensure compliance with DFDS Group policies and statutory requirements.
• Prepare annual statutory financial statements per Finnish legislation and coordinate external audits.
