Lyko Finland is seeking a Supplier Activation Manager to identify Finnish beauty brands, initiate conversations, and convert them into long-term partnerships. You will build trusted supplier relationships, develop activation plans, and drive growth in Finland’s market.
You will collaborate with Marketing, Purchasing and local teams to pair Finnish labels with international favourites, ensuring a locally relevant assortment and strong market presence.
At Lyko, we believe beauty should be FUN. So why not start a job ad with a knock-knock joke?
Knock knock.
Who’s there?
Dewey.
Dewey who?
Dewey have to keep knocking, or did you already get them through the door?
As a Supplier Activation Manager at Lyko, you’ll be doing exactly that - finding the brands we haven’t met yet, opening doors and turning those first conversations into proper partnerships.
So, can you help us become the most well-known and beloved brand for anyone interested in beauty in Finland? To get there, we need to become even more locally relevant. Having the right Finnish brands next to the international ones. Understanding what Finnish customers want before they have to tell us what they want. And building the local partnerships that make Lyko feel like it belongs here. If that makes your heart pump a little faster, keep reading!
Could you be the person who helps us discover the next Veloide or Smuuti? We love seeing Finnish beauty brands build something special, and we want to be part of more of those stories. Maybe you already know the next brand we should be talking to. Or maybe you'll be the one who finds it before everyone else does.
Veloide is a great example. We exclusively launched the brand at Lyko in Finland in 2025. By the end of the year, they had reached €1M in sales and become Lyko Finland's best-selling brand of 2025. Since then, other retailers have welcomed Veloide into their assortments too. And let’s not miss out on mentioning Smuuti, another Finnish beauty success story that shows just how much can happen when a local brand finds the right audience.
The honest version We are still very much a start-up in Finland. At Lyko, we believe beauty is for everyone - and we want EVERYONE to know we exist. The past few years in Finland have been amazing, with high growth as the norm. Our brand is more mature and established than it was a couple of years ago, which raises the real question: what’s next?
This is the first time we are hiring a fully dedicated person to own this area, which means there are no real ways of working or perfect playbooks waiting for you. Don't expect everything to be in place. Do expect to build, test, learn and make things happen from scratch, with a team that loves to win.
We are online first and stores second, and you will drive this agenda for Finland. You will work closely with Mette Martin, Head of Marketing Finland, your Norwegian counterpart Kristianne Hasselo, as well as our Purchasing team, who own purchase and pricing. You'll also be close to the local core market and the people making the decisions.
By now, you probably get what this role is really about: relationships. Your ability to build trust with suppliers, spot opportunities and turn a good conversation into a win-win deal will matter more to us than having the “perfect” background on paper. We are looking for someone who is relationship-driven, commercially minded and hungry to make things happen. Someone who doesn't wait for a list of tasks, but sees an opportunity, picks up the phone and goes after it. You are comfortable when there is no playbook yet, and maybe even enjoy it a little more when there isn't one.
Connections in the Finnish beauty industry are a big plus, but not a must. What matters most is that you know how to build relationships, spot opportunities and get people excited to work with Lyko. So what we really are asking us know is - can you walk into a room, build trust, spot an opportunity, negotiate a good deal and make something happen in Finland? If so.
At Lyko, we follow a “Business First” approach – which means you're expected to be on-site at one of our offices at least three days a week. The remaining two days are flexible, as long as it works with your team and the needs of the business.
