Qualifications

• Doctoral degree in a relevant field completed by the application deadline.
• Interest in environmental management of aquatic habitats in the Nordic and Arctic regions.
• Experience in qualitative social science research with peer-reviewed outputs.
• Transdisciplinary orientation with experience in knowledge communities beyond the social sciences.

Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct social scientific research on aquatic ecologies engaging multiple thematic areas.
• Collaborate with Dr. Jose A. Cañada and the research team and contribute to SAFIRE activities.
• Publish academic contributions such as articles and monographs.
• Engage in interdisciplinary work and seek external funding.
• Participate in outreach and engage with academic and non-academic publics.
• Assist in applications for research funding.
• Contribute to administrative and community activities at the university.
