Job summary

KONE Strategy & Transformation is seeking a Manager of Mergers & Acquisitions to lead cross-functional deal work across the full deal lifecycle. You will coordinate teams, build financial models, and support due diligence to drive value creation.

Based in Espoo preferred, the role can be located in other major European KONE hubs. You will report to the Senior Vice President Mergers & Acquisitions and contribute to high-quality decision-making in a dynamic, international environment.

Qualifications

• University degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in M&A, corporate finance, or strategy consulting.
• Strong financial acumen and ability to translate findings into recommendations.
• Experience supporting M&A transactions, integrations, or strategic projects.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to drive workstreams in a fast-paced international environment.
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Drive cross-functional project delivery across transaction and integration activities.
• Coordinate multiple stakeholders to ensure timely milestones.
• Take ownership of specific workstreams and deliverables within M&A projects.
• Develop business cases, financial models, and valuation analyses; conduct financial analysis of potential targets.
• Coordinate due diligence activities with legal, finance, tax, HR, and other stakeholders.
• Support deal execution activities, including preparation of materials, analyses, and recommendations for decision makers.
• Contribute to transaction negotiations and documentation processes.
• Support integration planning and help monitor value creation of acquired businesses.
• Coordinate collaboration between internal and external teams in an international environment.
• Contribute to continuous development of M&A capabilities, processes, and reporting.
