Job summary

KONE is seeking a Business Analyst Trainee to join our Strategy and Transformation team at the Espoo headquarters. You will contribute to high-priority strategic initiatives by conducting structured analyses, turning complex information into insights, and preparing compelling presentations for stakeholders.

We look for near-graduates in finance, business, engineering or related fields with strong academics, analytical mindset, and excellent PowerPoint/Excel skills; English fluency is required,

Qualifications

• University studies close to graduation in finance, business, engineering or another relevant field.
• Strong academic performance.
• Some experience from demanding analytical work, e.g. in consulting, private equity, banking, corporate finance or a comparable environment
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and logical reasoning skills
• Strong communication skills, with a strong command of PowerPoint and Excel
• Ability to work both independently with a proactive attitude, and as a team member with excellent collaboration skills
• Fluency in English is required
• Proficiency in AI/data analysis environments such as Python, Databricks, Power BI, or Celonis is considered an advantage

Responsibilities

• Conduct structured quantitative and qualitative analyses and turn complex information into clear insights and recommendations.
• Prepare compelling presentations and collaborate with stakeholders across KONE.
• Participate in planning and execution of high-priority strategic initiatives and integration planning if applicable.
• Support from January to May 2027 with full-time commitment, 3–12 months depending on study situation.
