Job summary

Verda is seeking an IT Procurement Specialist to lead the end-to-end procurement of hardware, software and IT services. This hands-on role partners with IT, Finance and Security to ensure optimal commercial and operational arrangements and scalable vendor management.

The successful candidate will own contract renewals, negotiate terms with vendors, and drive cost efficiencies while maintaining strong stakeholder relationships across the business.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of IT procurement experience.
• Strong commercial judgement and the ability to assess value beyond price.
• Excellent attention to detail around contracts, pricing, and terms.
• Strong organisational skills with ownership of processes.

Responsibilities

• Own the procurement of hardware, software, services, and other IT-related requirements across the Verda group.
• Manage contract renewals, pricing discussions, and ongoing vendor relationships.
• Assess vendors and solutions from commercial, operational, security, and compliance perspectives.
• Identify opportunities to improve procurement processes and reduce unnecessary costs or complexity.
• Maintain processes for IT procurement and vendor management as Verda scales.
• Work with IT and other teams to understand requirements and identify solutions.
