Job summary

Verda is expanding its APAC data center footprint and seeks a Data Center Expansion Manager to own end‑to‑end site identification, technical due diligence, tendering, and contract execution across markets.

This role blends technical, commercial, and operational work and requires frequent on‑site assessments, strong negotiation skills, and close collaboration with Construction, DC Operations, Hardware, Procurement, and Legal.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in data center capacity acquisition, technical real estate, or infrastructure procurement across APAC markets.
• Ability to assess a facility’s power and cooling infrastructure and ask the right technical questions.
• Experience running RFI/RFPs, supplier evaluation, and contract negotiation.

Responsibilities

• Lead identification, evaluation, and shortlisting of new data center capacity across APAC markets.
• Conduct detailed on-site assessments of power, cooling, fiber, redundancy, density, and security.
• Own tendering and procurement for new capacity from RFI/RFP through to contract execution.
• Review and negotiate facility and power contracts to protect Verda’s interests.
• Build and maintain a live pipeline of evaluated sites across target markets.
