Job summary

Verda is seeking an FP&A Business Partner to support our supply chain and data center buildout as we scale our infrastructure footprint.

Sitting within a growing FP&A team, this role will bring financial rigor, build cost models, and partner with procurement and operations on capex and forecasts.

This hybrid, Helsinki-based position offers a full-time permanent contract and a chance to shape finance partnerships across a fast-growing cloud infrastructure company.

Qualifications

• Experience in FP&A or business partnering.
• Strong financial modeling and analytical skills.
• Ability to work with non-finance stakeholders.
• Experience with data centers or large infrastructure projects is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Act as primary finance business partner to supply chain and data center buildout teams.
• Build and maintain cost models and forecasts for data center buildout projects.
• Partner with procurement and operations to forecast supply chain costs including GPU hardware.
• Support capacity planning by modeling the financial impact of new cluster deployments.
• Provide variance analysis and reporting on buildout spend vs. budget and forecast.
• Collaborate with the FP&A team to reflect buildout assumptions in Verda's model.
• Prepare leadership narratives on buildout progress and financial risk.

Sitting within a growing FP&A team, this role will act as the finance partner to teams driving physical infrastructure expansion — bringing financial rigor and planning discipline to procurement, capex, and buildout decisions. This is a great opportunity to shape how finance partners with operations at a fast-growing, capital-intensive infrastructure company.

Your responsibilities

• Act as the primary finance business partner to supply chain and data center buildout teams, providing financial analysis and planning support across procurement and infrastructure expansion




• Build and maintain cost models and forecasts for data center buildout projects, including capex planning and phasing




• Partner with procurement and operations teams to track and forecast supply chain costs, including GPU and hardware procurement where relevant




• Support capacity planning by modeling the financial impact of new cluster deployments and infrastructure investments




• Provide variance analysis and reporting on buildout spend against budget and forecast




• Work cross-functionally with the wider FP&A team to ensure buildout and supply chain assumptions are reflected in Verda's consolidated financial model




• Prepare reporting and narratives for leadership on buildout progress, cost drivers, and financial risk

Your key competencies

• Experience in FP&A, business partnering, or a related finance role, ideally within a scale-up or high-growth environment




• Strong financial modeling and analytical skills, with the ability to build cost models from scratch




• Comfort partnering with non-finance stakeholders, including operations and supply chain teams




• Experience in data centers or large infrastructure projects is a nice-to-have, not a requirement




• Ability to work across a fast-moving, capital-intensive business with evolving priorities
