Job summary

IKEA, based in Espoo, Finland, is seeking a skilled purchaser to join the Procurement organization. The role covers Finland and Norway and is located in Finland. You will build relationships with owners, drive sourcing plans, and lead negotiations using SAP Ariba.

The position is full-time, permanent, and starts in 2026 with a salary starting at €3940 per month. Collaboration across markets and adherence to IWAY are essential.

Qualifications

• Good understanding of IKEA business model, strategic landscape, and ways of working.
• Indirect procurement experience
• Experience in supplier management and development
• Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills
• Solid knowledge of sourcing and procurement practices, processes, and tools
• Experience with project management methods and processes
• Good legal knowledge related to procurement and contracts
• Strong financial and commercial understanding
• Knowledge of cost drivers and value creation opportunities
• SAP Ariba Source-to-Pay processes is an advantage

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain trusted relationships with business owners to align sourcing plans, drive performance, and deliver results
• Execute sourcing projects throughout the Source-to-Pay process using SAP Ariba, ensuring a strategic and professional procurement approach
• Lead negotiations to optimize costs, improve supplier performance, and create efficient solutions for end users and invoicing flows
• Drive supplier management and performance while ensuring compliance with IWAY and the IKEA Code of Conduct
• Continuously monitor local supplier markets and provide insights on sourcing opportunities, market developments, and trends
• Collaborate closely with colleagues across functions and markets as one integrated team
• Implement and communicate global procurement strategies, category plans, and strategic priorities within assigned markets and categories
• Deliver value-adding and sustainable procurement solutions that meet business and customer needs
