Job summary

Sartorius is seeking a Business Controller to support planning, reporting and performance analysis in Helsinki with a hybrid work model. You will deliver high-quality management reporting, enable data-driven decisions, and support continuous improvement across operations and product management.

The role requires a Master's degree in a relevant field and strong analytical, communication and Excel/SAP skills.

Qualifications

Master's degree in a relevant field is required.
Proven experience in controlling, financial analysis, reporting or similar analytical finance role.
Strong analytical and presentation skills for diverse stakeholders.
Fluent in Finnish and English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

Support local management with financial analyses and insights for operational decision-making.
Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly and annual financial results.
Assist budgeting, forecasting and planning with stakeholders.
Monitor performance, identify variances and trends, and recommend improvements.
Prepare performance reports, KPIs and reporting tools to increase transparency.
Contribute to business cases and investment analyses for decision support.
Collaborate with Operations, Supply Chain, Product Management and other functions to improve reporting quality.
Support implementation of global systems and best practices.
