Sartorius is seeking a Business Controller to support planning, reporting and performance analysis in Helsinki with a hybrid work model. You will deliver high-quality management reporting, enable data-driven decisions, and support continuous improvement across operations and product management.

The role requires a Master's degree in a relevant field and strong analytical, communication and Excel/SAP skills.

• Fluent in Finnish and English, both written and spoken.

Join our Finance and Controlling team as a Business Controller and play a key role in supporting business performance and operational excellence through planning, reporting, and performance analysis. In this position, you will contribute to better health for more people by delivering high - quality management reporting, support continuous improvement, and enabling data - driven business decisions.

The role is based in Roihupelto, Helsinki, with a hybrid working model available.

Grow with us - Your Responsibilities

• Support local management and business functions by providing financial analyses and insights to support operational decision-making
• Participate in the preparation, review, and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial results
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and planning activities in collaboration with relevant business stakeholders
• Monitor business performance, identify variances and trends, and contribute to recommendations for improving operational and financial performance
• Prepare and maintain performance reports, key performance indicators, and reporting tools that improve transparency and support performance monitoring
• Support the preparation of business cases, investment analyses, and other decision-support activities
• Collaborate closely with Operations, Supply Chain, Product Management, and other business functions to improve transparency, reporting quality, and business performance
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives and support the implementation of global systems, best practices, and organizational changes
• Ensure the accuracy and consistency of financial and operational data used in reporting and decision-making
• Translate data into meaningful insights and communicate findings clearly to both financial and non-financial stakeholders

What will convince us

• Master's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Industrial Engineering and Management, or a related field
• Proven experience in controlling, financial analysis, reporting, or a similar analytical finance role within a manufacturing environment, preferably supporting Operations, Supply Chain, Product Management, or related functions
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify trends, opportunities, and risks, and translate findings into actionable recommendations
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively and explain complex topics clearly to diverse stakeholders
• Proactive and collaborative working style, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with SAP; familiarity with reporting and analytics tools is considered an advantage
• Experience working in an international business environment
• Fluent in Finnish and English, both written and spoken
