Job summary

Stockmann in Helsinki is seeking a Store Designer to lead renewal projects, creating inspirational, customer centric store environments and space concepts.

You will develop commercial floor plans, design guidelines, and coordinating with product categories, merchandisers and external partners to bring concepts to life.

The role includes delivering design materials for approvals, overseeing implementation on the shop floor, and traveling to other department stores as needed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of interior and store design experience.
• Educational background in design.
• Strong understanding of retail business and brand concepts.

Responsibilities

• Lead renewal and change projects for department stores.
• Create and maintain commercial floor plans and design guidelines.
• Improve sustainability through eco-conscious design and materials.
• Produce design materials for approvals and implementation.
• Coordinate orders and oversee on-floor implementation with Project Manager.
• Participate in project rounds and changes across responsibilities.
