Skylo is seeking a Staff Network Performance Engineer to own KPI definitions and metrics within our OSS platform, bridging raw network counters with dashboards, alarms, and reports that Engineering, NetOps, and leadership rely on to understand how the Skylo network is performing. This role is based in Espoo, Finland, and you will work onsite three days a week as part of a fast‑growing team.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in telecom network performance, OSS/BSS, or network engineering roles with hands‑on KPI/counter implementation.
• Experience implementing and validating KPIs/metrics on an OSS/EMS platform (counter and formula configuration).
• Solid understanding of 3GPP counters and KPIs across RAN and Core; NB‑IoT, NTN, or satellite experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement network performance KPIs and metrics for the OSS platform.
• Build and configure KPI formulas, counters, and dashboards with OSS and NetOps teams.
• Design and run validation tests to confirm KPI accuracy before production rollout.
• Collaborate with Network Implementation, NetOps, and Systems Test teams to align KPI definitions with release needs.
• Maintain single source of truth for KPI definitions and data lineage.
• Identify gaps in observability and propose new metrics or retire outdated ones.
