Job summary

Skylo Technologies, Inc. in Espoo, Finland, is seeking an IT Operations Specialist to architect, scale, and maintain internal IT infrastructure and corporate networks.

You will bridge day-to-day IT operations with the needs of cross-continental engineering and operations teams, enabling secure, automated workflows. The ideal candidate has deep IAM, cloud-first fleet management, and enterprise networking expertise, with a proactive mindset toward automation and AI-driven tooling.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• Experience in an IT Systems/Infrastructure role, with a proven track record of handling mid-to-large scale tech environments.
• Environment knowledge: Windows, macOS, Linux; Google Workspace; Okta; Jira/Confluence; Slack; Office 365; IT Asset Management.
• 3+ years in IT Service Desk / IT Technical Support with escalation handling experience.
• Networking foundations: DNS, DHCP, VPN, LAN/Wi‑Fi; firewalls; VPN technologies.

Responsibilities

• Infrastructure & Cloud Operations: Own, monitor, and scale Skylo's global IT footprint across offices in the US, Finland, and India.
• Manage cloud productivity suites (Google Workspace) and essential SaaS tools (Slack, Jira/Confluence, GitHub, Zoom).
• Identity & Fleet Management: Design and optimize RBAC and user lifecycle workflows via IAM platforms (Okta).
• Enterprise Networking: Implement and maintain robust office network infrastructure with firewalls, VPNs, ZTNA, VLANs, and Wi‑Fi 6.
• Security & Compliance Collaboration: Support SOC 2 and ISO 27001 compliance and audit readiness.
• Automation & AI Integration: Identify and automate repetitive IT workflows using scripting and AI tools.
• Tier 3 Support Escalation: Provide high-touch escalation support for global staff and leadership.
