Job summary

ŌURA in Helsinki is seeking a Staff AI Engineer for the Developer Productivity group. You will architect the agentic development pipeline used by hundreds of engineers across iOS, Android, backend and AI services, and own its lifecycle from planning to release.

You will lead AI-native engineering, ensure safe, observable production workflows and collaborate with squads to raise the craft of development. This is a hybrid role based in Helsinki, Oulu or Tampere.

Qualifications

• Experience building and operating production systems that teams rely on.
• Proven ability to design and run agentic loops or autonomous workflows in real engineering orgs.
• Ability to think across spec, review, testing, CI/CD, release and operations as one system.
• Strong technical leadership and ability to shape architecture and priorities.
• Familiarity with backend, iOS or Android domains and distributed systems.

Responsibilities

• Set the technical direction for the agentic pipeline, including orchestration, context mgmt and tool calling.
• Extend agentic workflows across SDLC: spec checks, test generation, automated review, CI repair, release verification.
• Prototype quickly, then harden into production infrastructure.
• Ensure AI in production is safe with proper evals, tracing and guardrails.
• Lead AI-native engineering and drive adoption across squads.
