Job summary

Outokumpu is seeking a Specialist, Application Security to help secure our application landscape across development, procurement, deployment and maintenance. You will promote secure-by-design and secure-by-default practices enabling business innovation and resilience.

You will drive secure SDLC adoption, provide expert guidance to project teams, and collaborate in a global environment with a strong focus on sustainability and innovation. Hybrid work arrangement is offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT, CS, SWE, Cyber Security or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in cyber security, application development, software engineering or related disciplines.
• Strong knowledge of SSDLC, OWASP Top 10, app security testing, secure coding, threat modelling, API security, IAM and DevSecOps.
• Experience with cloud-native architectures preferred; manufacturing/industrial environments advantageous.

Your key responsibilities

What we are looking for

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Cyber Security or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in cyber security, application development, software engineering or related disciplines
• Understanding of SSDLC, OWASP Top 10, application security testing, secure coding, threat modelling, API security, authentication and authorization technologies, IAM and DevSecOps
• Experience with cloud-native and modern application architectures is preferred
• Experience in manufacturing or industrial environments is an advantage
