Job summary

Outokumpu Stainless Oy is seeking a Specialist, Application Security to strengthen security across our application landscape, spanning development, procurement, deployment and maintenance. You will champion secure-by-design and secure-by-default practices to enable digital transformation and operational resilience.

You will develop security standards, promote secure SDLC practices, and guide project teams to embed controls within CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Cyber Security or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in cyber security, application development, software engineering or related disciplines

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain application security standards, requirements and best practices
• Ensure security requirements are integrated into application development and procurement processes
• Establish and promote secure software development lifecycle practices
• Support integration of security controls into CI/CD pipelines
• Drive adoption of DevSecOps principles across development teams
• Provide expert guidance to project teams and application owners
• Increase awareness of application security risks and best practices
