Job summary

Saariselkä Ski & Sport Resort is seeking a snowcat driver/maintenance worker to care for slopes, tracks and lifts in our northernmost European ski area. You will focus on outside opening hours, including evenings, nights and early mornings, keeping our runs in top condition for guests and crew.

The role emphasizes maintenance and operation of snowcats and related equipment, with a flexible, team-first mindset and readiness to adapt to varying conditions in a family-owned resort.

The ski season in Saariselkä starts in the end of November and lasts until May. The industry, work environment & work community is international, versatile & development oriented. Family-owned Saariselkä Ski & Sport Resort includes slope operation, ski rental, restaurant Lieggâ Láávu & ski school. Now we are looking for more members in our work crew!

As a snowcat driver/maintenance worker your tasks include mainly maintenance of slopes, nordic ski tracks, lifts & other machines. You will participate also in snowmaking.Mainly the working time is outside of our opening hours: in the evenings, nights and early mornings.In this role you will take care of the corner stone of the industry: slopes, tracks and lifts, so this suits especially passionate skiers and snowboarders.
