Job summary

Nordec is seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead installation works on demanding projects in Finland and across Northern Europe. You will head on-site teams, coordinate subcontractors, ensure safety, quality and schedule adherence, and maintain strong collaboration with customers, project management and other stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

This permanent, full-time role offers autonomy, international exposure and opportunities across Nordec's growing markets.

Qualifications

• Several years of site management or project leadership experience within construction.
• Proven ability to lead teams and coordinate multiple stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of construction processes, site operations and safety requirements.
• Experience from large industrial projects or data centers is an advantage.
• Fluent English; Finnish/Swedish language skills are a plus.

As Nordec's project portfolio continues to grow, we are looking for experienced Site Managers to lead installation works on demanding projects in Finland and across Northern Europe.

This is an opportunity for an experienced site professional who enjoys combining technical expertise with people leadership, customer collaboration and hands‑on project execution. In this role, you will be at the heart of project delivery, ensuring that installation activities are completed safely, efficiently and according to agreed quality and schedule targets.

As a Site Manager, you will act as one of Nordec's key representatives on site. You will lead installation teams and subcontractors, coordinate daily site operations and work closely with customers, project management and other stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading and coordinating on-site installation activities

• Managing site teams and subcontractors

• Ensuring quality, safety, schedule and productivity targets are achieved

• Acting as the main on-site contact towards customers and stakeholders

• Monitoring project progress and reporting to the Project Manager

• Resolving operational challenges and driving effective decision-making in a dynamic project environment.

This role combines technical expertise with leadership responsibilities. A typical project may involve multiple disciplines, several subcontractors and large site teams, requiring both strong organisational skills and the ability to build trust with customers and colleagues alike.

To succeed in the role, you have:

• Several years of experience in site management, project management or a comparable leadership position within construction

• Proven ability to lead teams and coordinate multiple stakeholders in demanding project environments

• Strong understanding of construction processes, site operations and safety requirements

• Experience from large industrial projects, data centers or other technically demanding construction projects is considered an advantage

• Fluent English language skills, language skills in Finnish and/or Swedish are considered an advantage

• A proactive, structured and solution‑oriented approach to work

• Willingness to travel according to project requirements.
