Job summary

Texas Instruments in Oulu designs PMIC semiconductors and seeks a Silicon Validation Engineer to drive validation strategy from architecture engagement and silicon bring-up through production release, blending hands-on execution with method ownership.

You will validate next‑generation PMIC devices, perform complex system‑level debugging, and collaborate with silicon, hardware, software and operations teams to deliver reliable performance for automotive and industrial applications.

Qualifications

Master’s degree required in a relevant field.
3–5 years of experience as a Validation Engineer or related semiconductor role.
Experience with advanced test automation, data analysis, and validation infrastructure.
Strong written and verbal English communication, ability to influence cross‑functional teams.

Responsibilities

Define validation plans, methodologies and coverage for next‑generation PMICs.
Perform testing and validation of power electronics hardware.
Root‑cause analysis of complex silicon, hardware or system‑level issues and provide actionable recommendations.
Collaborate with systems, applications, design and operations teams to resolve issues and improve product robustness.
