Job summary

Veke is opening a new Jyväskylä Palokka store in early 2027, seeking a results-driven store manager to lead operations, drive sales, and develop the local team. You will partner with the assistant store manager and warehouse supervisor to create a high-performing unit in a growing Finnish furniture retailer.

Job description

We are seeking a results-driven and inspiring store manager for our new Jyväskylä Palokka store opening in early 2027. Veke, a furniture retailer originating from Ranua, serves Finns with a passion for home and a belief that furniture should be affordable and create a homely feeling. The company prides itself on independence, Finnish character, and boldness, and has grown from a small Ranua-based shop to one of Finland’s largest online furniture and home decor retailers. In addition to the Veke.fi online store, we operate inspiring showrooms in Vantaa, Raisio, Tampere, Oulu, Kuopio, and Rovaniemi, as well as nationwide corporate sales. As a store manager you will lead a new store in Jyväskylä Palokka, responsible for the operations and results of your unit together with the assistant store manager, warehouse supervisor, and the rest of the team. You will guide your store toward strong performance, develop staff to reach their best, and lead by example in sales while supporting the success of your store and team.

Daily you will oversee store operations, develop and coach staff toward better sales outcomes, participate in selling and demonstrate leadership, and continuously improve the operating culture so your unit can perform every day a little better.
