Job summary

JYSK OY is launching a Store Manager Trainee program in Finland. You will learn the store network, manage projects, and progressively take on supervisory and commercial leadership tasks while working closely with a store manager and mentor.

The role includes diverse duties across sales, team leadership, warehouse work, and customer service, with a dedicated trainee training program and travel between stores during the first year.

Responsibilities

• Learn operations in multiple JYSK stores during first year.
• Take on projects related to store manager role based on abilities.

• Attend trainee training sessions at HQ (Vantaa) for ~1 year.
• Contribute to campaigns and diverse daily tasks (sales, warehouse, cashier).

STORE MANAGER TRAINEE WORK AT JYSK

• During the first year, you learn the work in different JYSK stores and take on projects related to the store manager role based on your abilities.
• Goals guide your work: everyone has a clear direction and a desire to exceed expectations.
• Varied workdays consist of sales, team leadership, warehouse work, customer service, and cashier work.
• As your expertise grows, you take on more supervisory and commercial leadership tasks. You work closely with a store manager and have your own mentor.
• Weekly tasks include active feedback to the team to help them succeed.
• You participate in JYSK's own store manager trainee training program for about a year, with week-long sessions at the Vantaa headquarters (5 sessions total).
• The job requires good basic fitness, but you get the best tools and team support.
• Diversity – store, warehouse, campaigns... boredom is not in our vocabulary.
