Job summary

JYSK OY is seeking a Store Manager Trainee to learn across multiple stores, take on leadership tasks, and progress toward a future store/ regional management role. The program includes a year of diverse store exposure, mentorship, and targeted development.

Expect to handle sales, customer service, and team coordination while traveling between stores during the first year; relocation costs are supported as opportunities arise.

Qualifications

• Fluent written and spoken Finnish is required for understanding instructions and customer service.
• Demonstrated leadership, training, onboarding, and providing active feedback.
• Willingness to travel and work in different stores during the first year; relocation may be needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop store team; manage sales, customer service and operations.
• Collaborate with store manager and mentor on projects and store initiatives.
• Participate in weekly feedback sessions and performance reviews.

STORE MANAGER TRAINEE WORK AT JYSK:

• During the first year, you learn the work in different JYSK stores and take on projects related to the store manager role.
• Goals guide your work: everyone has a clear direction and a desire to exceed expectations.
• Varied workdays consist of sales, team leadership, warehouse work, customer service, and cashier work.
• You will take on leadership and sales management tasks as your skills grow, working closely with a store manager and a mentor.
• Weekly tasks include giving active feedback to the team.
• Participation in a year-long training program with five week-long sessions at the Vantaa head office.
• Requires good physical condition.
