Job summary

Comatec Group is seeking a system designer to strengthen our team working with ship machinery and HVAC systems. You will contribute to the development and maintenance of these systems, including design, equipment sizing, testing and procurement.

You will communicate with production, shipowner representatives and equipment suppliers, travel as needed, and work at customer premises in the Helsinki area, with some remote work depending on the project.

Qualifications

• Degree in mechanical engineering or related field is required.
• Experience with technical systems or processes.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Good command of English; Finnish language skills are considered an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Design and manage systems for ship machinery and HVAC projects.
• Select equipment and components and support testing and procurement.
• Communicate with production teams, shipowner representatives and suppliers.
• Travel to projects as required.
