Qualifications

  • F-Gas, Electrician qualification (S3) licenses required.
  • Willingness to participate in standby / on-call.
  • Good problem-solving and ability to work independently at customer sites.
  • Proficiency in English; local language skills.

Responsibilities

  • Commission and service HVAC equipment and systems to company standards.
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair equipment at customer locations.
  • Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and service upgrades.
  • Complete service documentation accurately and timely.

Job Summary

Service Technician HVAC is responsible for the commissioning, maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and servicing of HVAC equipment and systems at customer premises. The role ensures that work is carried out safely, professionally, and in accordance with company standards, legal requirements, and customer expectations. The position also includes accurate reporting, participation in standby or on-call duties when required, and professional representation of the company in all customer and stakeholder interactions.

Responsibilities
  • Commission and service HVAC equipment and systems in accordance with company standards.
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair equipment and systems at customer locations.
  • Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, equipment replacements, and service upgrades.
  • Complete service documentation and reporting accurately and in a timely manner, ensuring all work performed is properly recorded.
  • Participate in standby and on-call duty rosters as required to provide professional and timely technical support during and outside of standard working hours.
  • Comply with all applicable safety rules, regulations, and company policies in the execution of duties.
  • Maintain professional working relationships with customers, suppliers, and co-workers, and provide a high standard of customer service.
  • Collaborate effectively with internal HVAC professionals and colleagues to resolve technical issues and support operational objectives.
  • Attend and participate in company-provided technical training to maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant equipment, controls, systems, and service practices.
  • Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory, and certification requirements relevant to HVAC servicing.
  • Represent the company in a professional manner at all times and uphold company standards and reputation.
  • Operate company-provided vehicles, tools, and equipment responsibly and in accordance with company guidelines.
  • Support internal and external audits, quality initiatives, and compliance reviews as required.
  • Use standard company systems, software, and reporting tools as part of daily work responsibilities.
  • Perform other duties reasonably assigned by management that are consistent with the nature and scope of the role.
Requirements
  • Technical education (or higher) in HVAC, refrigeration, electrical engineering, or a related field
  • Relevant experience in servicing and maintaining HVAC equipment (e.g. chillers) and systems, experience in a data center environment is an asset
  • Required certifications, licenses, or authorizations applicable to the role and local regulatory requirements, especially: F-Gas, Electrician qualification (S3)
  • Ability and willingness to participate in standby / on-call support arrangements as required.
  • Good technical problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently at customer sites.
  • Consistent professionalism and discipline, with readiness to support internal and external quality or compliance audits
  • Ability to drive and work across multiple locations
  • High flexibility and adaptability in dynamic operational conditions
  • Computer skills and ability to use service and reporting systems.
  • Working proficiency in English; local language skills
